1. When you become a member you are accepting Les Ormes terms and conditions and a binding contract comes into existence.
2. When booking and paying for your tennis, golf, soccer dome or gym booking you must present your membership card. Failure to do so will result in a delay as staffs have to check the membership files.
3. All payments for activities must be made on booking. Failure to do so could lead to the membership being cancelled without refund and in extreme cases use of Les Ormes prohibited in future.
4. Les Ormes annual upfront memberships are non refundable and non transferable.
5. Members paying by Monthly Direct Debit must give one clear calendar month’s notice in writing if they wish to cancel their membership. There is a six months minimum period of membership on Direct Debit Memberships.
6. Direct Debit memberships are based on being a member for a whole year. Any Direct Debit membership that ceases and then renews within 12 months would be required to pay £150 to rejoin.
7. Weekday golf, tennis and gym members may book the facilities 14 days in advance. 7 day golf, rackets, junior rackets and junior sports members may book 2 days in advance.
8. Payments are non changeable and non refundable. You should only make a booking if you are definitely going to play whatever the weather.
9. Weekday and 7 Day Golf Members can change or cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the tee time. Les Ormes will charge for any cancellations or no shows within 48 hours at the pay and play rate. If the golf course is closed a charge will not be made. You should only book if you know you can play.
10. Tennis members can change a booking up to 48 hours before time of playing. Cancellation fees as above.
11. Gym members can change a class booking up to 48 hours before. Cancellation fees as above.
12. Online bookings are non transferable and non-refundable. Please see online terms and conditions.
13. No shows:
Golf - Member / Visitor / Guest tee off times booked, but not fulfilled, will not be entitled to a refund. 5 day and 7 day members that book and do not show will be invoiced at the pay and play members rate. Failure to receive payment may result in your membership being revoked. Please make sure you check in at the reception before going out on the course.
14. Tennis - Member / Visitor / Guest tennis court booked, but not fulfilled, will not be entitled to a refund. Rackets members and tennis members that book and do not show will be invoiced at the non-members rate. Please make sure you check in at the reception before going on to court.
15. Gym - Member / Visitor / Guest booked classes, but not fulfilled, will not be entitled to a refund. Members that book and do not show will be invoiced at the non-members rate. Please make sure you check in at the reception before going up to the gym.
16. Soccer Dome - Member / Visitor / Guest pitch booked but not fulfilled, will not be entitled to a refund.
17. Les Ormes memberships are non transferable to any other membership category or an individual.
18. Les Ormes reserves the right to change the membership benefits during the year by advising members with a months notice displayed in advance on the general notice board.
19. Les Ormes is a fantastic complex and we wish to keep it that way. Members are required to respect the etiquette of their chosen activity. A free guide to golf etiquette can be obtained from reception. Not only will this help you enjoy the game but it improves safety. Failure to follow etiquette may, at the discretion of Les Ormes management, make the membership invalid without refund.
20. The correct attire must be worn at all times for each of the sporting activities here at Les Ormes. Any exception to this is subject to the Ranger’s approval.
21. Golf - Metal spikes are not permitted on the course or in the bar / restaurant. No denim jeans, jackets, shirts or other items of denim clothing, no scruffy / work clothes or tracksuits are to be worn on the course.
22. Tennis – Tennis or indoor non-marking shoes must be worn at all times whilst on court.
23. Gym – Indoor training shoes only. The correct footwear and clothing will assist you in your training. The Les Ormes Sport Shop has a wide range of golf, tennis and gym products.
24. Soccer Dome - Trainers or astro shoes are permitted. Blades, metal or screw in studs are strictly forbidden.
25. Les Ormes reserves the right to close a facility due to weather, maintenance, or any other activity including corporate events without a membership rebate.
26. Membership rates and benefits are only applicable if the membership subscription is paid.
27. Members are responsible for their own actions anywhere on the Les Ormes site. If you hit a ball and it damages someone or something it is your responsibility. You can add most sports to your household insurance.
28. We regret we cannot accept liability or pay compensation for cancellation or reduction of service due to acts out of our control. Such acts of force majeure would include; war, threats or acts of terrorism, fire, flood or natural disaster or any similar event outside our control.
